The Role
Lead Full Stack Web Developer (React / Next.js / Node.js / DevOps)

We’re looking for a senior, highly autonomous Lead Full Stack Web Developer to take end-to-end ownership of our web platform — architecture, full stack development, DevOps, and everything in between.
This is a senior, high-trust role with a broad mandate: you will ramp up on a live, production-grade platform alongside our engineering team and grow into full technical ownership of the web domain. It is a rare opportunity to shape the technical direction of a product already deployed with leading contractors internationally.

What You’ll Do

* Own the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications across the full stack.
* Build modern, high-performance front-end applications using React and Next.js.
* Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js.
* Implement and optimize Server-Side Rendering (SSR) solutions.
* Own the DevOps side of the web stack — CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure.
* Utilize AI-assisted and agentic development workflows to increase productivity and innovation.
* Serve as the technical authority for the web domain: set architectural direction, define standards, and review code.
* Ramp up quickly on the existing platform and grow into full ownership of the web domain.
* Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to rapidly deliver product features, and mentor developers as the team grows.

Must-Have Qualifications

* 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including a role as tech lead or lead developer on a production web platform.
* Deep expertise in React, including performance optimization and large-codebase structure.
* Proven track record of designing and owning system architecture end to end.
* Proven experience with Next.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
* Strong backend development experience with Node.js, including API design and data modeling.
* Hands-on DevOps capability: CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
* Experience working with AI-assisted / agentic workflows and modern development tools.
* Comfortable working in a startup environment with high ownership and autonomy.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently with a high degree of autonomy.
* Ability to absorb an existing codebase quickly and take responsibility for it.
* Clear communication skills, and the maturity to make and defend technical decisions with product and management.

Nice-to-Have Skills

* Python development experience.
* Experience with Apache Spark.
* Familiarity with Databricks.
* Experience working with Azure Cloud services.
* Experience mentoring developers or leading a small engineering team.
* Background in Industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms, data pipelines, or connected devices.
